Under the patronage of H.E Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the State of Qatar, The National Committee for organizing the Qatar – UK Business and Investment Forum is organizing the Forum’s 8th Edition “ Qatar – UK Business and Investment Forum ” this year in the United Kingdom in Both London and Birmingham on 27-28 March 2017.

The Forum organization comes in collaboration with the following Qatari ministries and entities: Ministry of Economy and Commerce, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Foreign Affairs the Permanent Committee for organizing conferences, the Qatari Businessmen Association and UK Trade and Investment.

The Forum being Qatar’s flagship Business event abroad has been organized in major economic capitals of the world including Paris, New York and Berlin with attendance of more than 1000 Businessmen and government officials, landing this year in London; Qatar’s Strategic Trading Partner as UK's total exports to Qatar amounted to 2.6 billion pounds in 2015, representing an increase of 16% from 2014, while Qatar's exports to the United Kingdom have doubled to reach 2.7 billion pounds during the same year.

The Forum will discuss a variety of current economic, trade, investment and construction projects from the effects and opportunities post Brexit, to the UK GCC Agreement, private to private sector cooperation and Qatar' Projects of diversification covering all principle economic sectors: Finance, Energy and Industry, construction and Infrastructure, Tourism and Transportation.
